Question by : I heard Obama is going to help pay for your housing if your broke?
I am broke and cannot pay my rent coming up in Nov. I also gots no credit so no loan from me. My friend Deion said that Obama has this program call Making Homes Affordable where he pays for your rent or mortgage for a year?

Anyone know how a man can get this?

There is no such program.

Most times “My friend….says….” is followed by complete BS.

There are programs for homeowners to help negotiate with banks to get their mortgages reduced but they are tough to qualify for. There is nothing for renters.

    Bwahaha! Nobody is going to pay your rent. That Stinker, BO, has a monthly income of $ 75,000 a month in addition to his pay as President, and he is not going to give you so much as a penny to help you pay your rent. Michelle wants lobster for dinner.

    As for HAMP to help homeowners modify their mortgages, most never survive the probationary period and actually get a modification. Over half of those who get modifications go into foreclosure again within 6 months, and the vast majority are expected to lose their homes regardless of “modification.” They bought homes they could not afford to begin with, and they are losing them.

    You’re a renter. Either pay your rent, or get evicted and move to Hooverville. Or now that packing cases are in such short supply, and the homeless cannot even afford to buy a tent at WalMart, maybe we should call these under-the-bridge encampments “Obummervilles.” Living in Hooverville was perhaps a bit more luxurious back in the day.

    Making Homes Affordable is for restructuring mortgages already open. Nothing to do with rent.
