FHA does offer Manufactured home financing- this deal also comes with land

Mobile homes are NOT real estate – you cannot get any kind of “Mortgage” on them – only a personal loan, visit this site which will be a higher interest rate and probably require 20% down – they decrease in value over time

  1. Any mortgage company that does FHA loans can do a manufactured home/land deal. Just call your local mortgage companies and ask them if they do FHA and tell them that you are buying a manufactured home. There are stringent FHA regulations as to how the house is set on the land – if I remember correctly, when I was in the business several years ago the house had to be on a block foundation, and there were certain other requirements as to the construction of the home. Figure out the financing before you commit to buying the house. Good luck!
