Chateau de Monbazillac. From the tour brochure: &quotBuilt about 1550, order Chateau Monbazillac stands right now almost specifically as it was when constructed by the Aydie household much more than four centuries ago. It has come unscathed through the Wars of Religion, buy the revolt of the Perigord peasants (&quotLes Jacqueries du Perigord&quot), the French Revolution and the architectural eccentricities of the 19th century. This Protestant stronghold is right now listed as an Historic Monument and classified as one of the &quotHundred Web sites of Outstanding Taste&quot in France. Its architecture is an harmonious mixture of the defensive style of the Middle Ages (towers, circular stroll, battlements, arrow-slits, dry moats) and the first signs of Renaissance art (the aligining of large apertures, mullion and transom windows, complex frameworks, interior superimposed staircases, layout of rooms, sleeping bridge . . .). Inhabited by Protestant noblemen, Lords of Bergerac, the Chateau of Monbazillac and its 22 hectares of vines had changed ownership more than ten instances prior to becoming bought in 1960 by the Cooperative of Monbazillac. The cooperative maintains the chateau with the entry fees paid by visitors. Monbazillac is also the name of a vineyard of world-wide renown. It was 1st cultivated in the 11th century by the monks of the Priory of Saint-Martin, who then owned the gently sloping hillsides of Monbazillac and first invented this wine-making process. Around 3000 hectares of vineyard now advantage from this particular strategy of vinification which is based on the late and successive harvesting of grapes, grapes getting &quotinfected&quot by a fungus–the BOTRYTIS CINEREA–the origin of the &quotnoble rot.&quot This surmaturation gives the wine of Monbazillac its &quotRobe de Louis d’Or,&quot its Bouquet de Roti&quot and its &quotNez de Cyrano&quot!

Question by stephanie s: Should you use a different lending company when applying for a home equity loan?
We are going to apply for a home equity loan so we can put a pool in.Should we apply with our current mortgage company or someone new. Does it matter?

Answer by fukinluckyfuker
You can always try your current mortgage company, sales but not all offer home equity loans, sick and you can often find a better deal locally.

Call a couple local banks and credit unions. Most will offer good rates and pay all the closing costs for you. Shop around for your best deal.

  1. Either way. If you are comfortable and know the person you were working with before, it may make sense to use them again. Certainly not all companies offer all products. Most companies do Home Equity deals in some fashion or another. While it is true that many banks offer good deals, but many require you to keep the line open for a certain number or years (amongst other fine print items). Since you are applying for a particular purpose (finance your pool) you will probably meet all the minimum criteria the lenders want.

Do shop around as you will find many different deals.

    Regards,

    Joe…

  2. check out both. it doesn’t matter. get a no cost line at prime minus…
