Question by Me: Should I refinance or try a loan mod? I haven’t been living in the property because I’ve been in grad school out of state. I have a job where I am now, there ailment but I’m underemployed. My options are to #1- move back and make it my primary residence and find suitable employment where the property is located before starting a loan mod process OR #2- refinance under the home affordable refinance program.
